The Sustainable Agropolis

This is information about Project

The Agropolis aims to introduce a sustainable community that organically merges with the landscape in terms of green and blue space but also promotes self-sustenance through agriculture and social sustainability through combining it with public space.

This project uses parametric design to create irregular forms that welcome different functions to show an adaptive urbanism like of Branzi’s. Its many uses include shared allotments and orchards, green roofs, aquaponics areas that utilise the ammonia exchange between fish and plants, as well as a shared fishing grounds that come from allowing the surrounding two rivers to enter the site.
