Social Housing
This social housing project aims to encourage more social interaction and a sustainable way of living together. It does so through the use of multiple courtyards, green roofs, roof gardens, and reusable softwood cladding. 
After experimenting with courtyard sizes, it was decided that the final design would have one primary hexagonal courtyard in which multiple wings protrude out of it. The wings would then be connected to other buildings through courtyards and balconies. 
The site chosen was the friarsgate car park for its convenient location near a commercial street that would discourage the use of a car
